I am a bilingual, Spanish speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California. I have 8 years of clinical experience treating children, at-risk adolescents, adults and families in various settings such as: school-based (k-12), tele health, and private practice. I am a proud alumnus of San Jose State University, where I earned both of my Social Work degrees (Bachelor's of Arts, 2002; Master's of Social Worker, 2007) and I received my clinical license in 2019.
I am passionate about helping others and I work towards empowering others, so they are able to identify their strengths and capabilities. I strongly believe therapeutic support can assist individuals find the resiliency they need to get through life's experiences.
My approach to therapy is flexible and based on a client's individual needs. I strive to meet my clients where they are as I gain an understanding of where they want to be. As a therapist, I provide a safe and confidential environment with reflective listening and use various therapeutic modalities to help bring clarity and insight.
I have found I have a natural ability to relate and connect with others largely due to my various life and work experiences. My overall objective within the therapeutic process is to help individuals feel supported, heard and validated. Working together to develop a treatment plan with obtainable goals that result in a healthy and fulfilling life is also part of my objective.

October 2013 to January 2016
Provided EPSDT School based therapy services to K-12 students. Formulated and completed comprehensive assessments and treatment plans after establishing medical necessity. Through case management services, provided community referrals and support for targeted individual and family needs.
